Do you still remember singing nursery rhymes and children's songs with your multiplex cassette tapes when you were just a kid? Or even Sesame Street songs? If yes, then you would know Golden Records, a vintage in the industry. It was one of the first and really famous when it comes to children's music. They are also known for story telling of the great fairy tales with matching background music and sound effects. Well, they're back now, giving you again the timeless tales everybody loves.

Well, my dear readers, I would like to share to you how grateful I am having this review, because I really love fairy tales, I love reading them with colorful illustrations when I was a kid, and now I get to hear it being narrated by famous celebrities. How awesome is that!

I was sent a digital copy of the whole album. I listened to it with my headset and high volume to have a full feel of the songs and the stories. Each celebrity is a perfect fit in their narration and I could clearly imagine how the characters would say as they say, do what they do and especially feel what they feel. A very realistic sound effects could get you really hooked to the stories, wanting for more. I can't help but smile and giggle too. My daughter would ask me ' Mommy what's funny?'

I love Princess and the Pea and Hansel & Gretel narrated by Cheryl Hines, Jack and the Beanstalk by Susan Sarandon, Rapunzel and Goldilocks by Alicia Silverstone, and Jack B. Nimble by Ed Asner. To tell you frankly, this is the first time I heard about Jack B. Nimble's story, the boy with no name. I really am curious on how the story would turn out, and I loved it. When I finished listening to whole album, I let my kids listened to it though they're too busy doing their own things, the song that really caught their attention was Pop goes the Weasel, they sang with The Muffin Man and Baa Baa Black Sheep. And the stories that my 4-year old daughter liked was Rapunzel and Cinderella. I always wonder how these geniuses (the creators) would come up with such great bring-to-life story telling, and to think that for just less than 7 minutes you had just heard the whole story and was inspired and amazed. It had taken out the childhood memories in me and the feeling was great. Nostalgic indeed. Until now, I am fond of fairy tale stories and would never get tired of listening to them over and over again.

For you moms and dads out there, this review was wholeheartedly my own and I'd say that this is an awesome album to grow-with for your kids. Not everything is about internet-games for them, they too must listen to stories like these and have their imagination work wonders. And to us, parents, Golden Records brings out the child in all of us. With The Magic Continues' music and stories highly recommended for the whole family to enjoy at the same time giving our kids moral lessons to live by.
