According to the site, Hump Day $50 Giveaway is a weekly event. Every Wednesday, a group of 25-26 bloggers hosts a 1-day giveaway where 1 individual will win $50 via Paypal Cash. The form usually opens every Wednesday at 12:01am EST and close on Thursday at 12:01am.
So why Hump Day?
