5 Ways To Help Your Hair Grow

If you have just shaved your head and you are already regretting it, or your hair is thinning, you may be wondering what you can do to help your hair grow.
Luckily, there are things you can do to help your hair grow fast.

1. Use hair regrowth products

The market has hair regrowth products that promise to make your hair grow such as hair loss shampoos.  You just need to make sure that they have safe-to-use ingredients that will help your hair to grow. Most of these hair regrowth shampoos promise to trigger hair growth and stop hair loss. They have natural ingredients and they are free of sulfates and parabens.

2. Eat a healthy balanced diet

The health of your hair is determined by what you eat. If you want your hair to grow, you need to eat a healthy balanced diet.
  • Ensure your diet has enough protein since it is the main component of hair. You can eat eggs, fish, dairy products, and lean meat. Vegetarians can opt for leafy greens and beans.
  • Take vitamins either in the diet or as supplements.Biotin (vitamin B) is important for hair growth. You can get it from nuts, meat, eggs, avocados, and salmon.

  • You can also include essential oils such as tea tree oil, peppermint or lemon oil when massaging. Pour five drops of oil on your fingertips and then massage your scalp.
  • Do conditioning treatment using oil. Massage oils such as olive, coconut, castor, or almond into your scalp when the hair is wet. Leave the oil to soak for two hours with hair covered in a shower cap. Then wash the hair as normal.

4. Use a natural hair mask

A natural hair mask can prevent the hair from having split ends and as a result grow longer. It restores the luster of thin or dry hair. Make the mask by mixing one egg, a tablespoon of honey and two tablespoons of plain yogurt. Apply it to the hair when it is wet and allow it to sit for 20 minutes. Wash the hair.

5. Avoid harsh products and chemicals

Harsh chemicals and products used in hair products can be harmful to your hair and cause it to be brittle and dry. You need to be careful when buying hair products and check if they have these harmful chemicals such as sulfates, alcohol, and silicones. Try to go for products that have natural ingredients.
